Programs and Services
      | Beginning in the summer of 2001, Greater Boston Nazarene Compassionate Center established its ESOL Program entitled "Let's Speak English" from a community based needs assessment. As a result of the urgent need for these classes we began offering courses using volunteer instructors even without formal funding. In 2003 we successfully tested a customized pilot curriculum where 15 students completed a 12-week session including two different levels (beginner and intermediate). This year, we have developed a great partnership with the Irish Immigration Center, in order to provide high quality ESOL program to the students. Our partnership with IIC has improved the program outcomes by increasing the effectiveness of the program.Our current session started in April and will end in July 2009 .
