      | Greater Boston Nazarene Compassionate Center has developed a strong diabetes awareness program through The REACH US Action Community Haitian Diabetes Initiative Grant administered by the Center for Community health Education and Research (CCHER). We seek to support evidence-based prevention education projects designed to increase awareness about diabetes and obesity in the Haitian community. Through partnerships with other organizations GBNCC has been able to develop strong linkages with the larger Haitian community to complete a continuum of prevention and education activities including: diabetes treatment, mental health, nutrition and exercise services for Haitian diabetics and at risk Haitian population.
