Arthur EugenePr Arthur Eugène is a minister of the Church of the Nazarene working
for the Greater Boston Nazarene Compassionate Center Inc since 2004,
as a religious worker. As the associate director of the center, he is
in charge of the Adult Basic Education and the food program.
Pr Arthur E. is born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He spent one year at
the Institute of African Studies and Researches where he started his
African and Caribbean studies. In 1989, he graduated from the School
of Law and Economic Sciences, with a major in Economics. In 1991, he
completed a two-year study at the School of Human Sciences with a
major in Social Communication. He received also numerous trainings in
theology and Christian education, including continuing studies at the
Reynolds Institute, in Massachusetts. Currently, he recently completed
a certificate program in Health and Human Services Management at
Suffolk University.
As a Christian Leader pr Eugène was a member of one of the biggest
regional Association of Pastors and Churches in Haiti, where he
fulfilled the position of General Secretary within the Executive
Committee from 1993 to 2003.
In the late 80s, pr Eugène was fascinated by the rise of the
information technology. And in 1990 he decided to approach the
computer field. He received his diploma in Computer Programming in
1992 and attended various seminars and trainings in operating system,
databases management, networking, internet, etc. Most of these
trainings were held abroad in Paris, Toulouse (France), Geneva
(Switzerland), etc. He is also trained in Technology and Ministry, HIV
and Breast Cancer education, etc
He used to work for UNCATAD (United Nation Conference for Trade and
Development) and the Customs Office Headquarter in Haiti as an IT
manager, in charge of the Automated System Custom Data (ASYCUDA).
