Summer Works 4 Change is an academic summer enrichment, which seeks to address a multitude of socio-economic hurdles facing inner city youths. The chief aim of the Summer Works 4 Change is to instill self-esteem, leadership skills, promote academic achievement, empower student to attend higher education, uplift young men and women between the ages of 7 to 14 in order that they may aspire to achieve greatness. We accomplish this by means of music education, media training and awareness, social justice programming as well as preparing them academically with MCAS prep.
Hours of Operation
Summer Works 4 Change operates from July 7, 2009-August 21, 2009. Monday thru Friday 9am to 3pm
Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of each parent to and from the site. Greater Boston Nazarene Compassionate Center will not be providing transportation.
Requirements
Low or moderate income (proof of income required)
Students and parents must sign a contract with Greater Boston Nazarene Compassionate Center , related to program expectations
Fees
Parents and students who are enrolled in Summer Works 4 Change must pay a one-time non-refundable enrollment fee of $150.00 and additional cost for field trips. Cash/Check/Money Order will be accepted. Payment may also be paid in installments. We also offer a very generous scholarship program. Please inquire for more information.
